Welcome to Aesthetic Medispa, your one-stop Essex skin clinic for all things aesthetic. From enhancing lips to refreshing the skin, our fantastic range of treatments gives you all you need to look and feel healthy, happy and youthful.
In today’s post, we’re looking at PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment in more depth. From benefits and the treatment process to costs, there are lots we’ll cover, to help give you peace of mind if you’ve had treatment, or give you the information you need to book an appointment with us here in Essex.
PRP treatment in a nutshell
First, let’s talk about what PRP treatment is and how it works. Put simply, it’s a treatment that involves taking a small amount of blood, separating the rich plasma, and then reinjecting it into targeted areas. A machine – called a centrifuge – is used to separate the plasma.
A few benefits from PRP treatment
So, how can PRP treatment help your skin? Well, it can create smoother, plumper skin while softening the look of lines and wrinkles. And, it can work from within to help regenerate the skin, too - using your body's very own natural resources.
Our clients love how plump and tight skin looks following treatment. Plus, by using our state-of-the-art U225 Mesogun, treatment is virtually painless, with little in the way of downtime afterwards.
A note on results
With any aesthetic treatment, it's important to gauge how long the results will last and what the treatment can do for you and your skin.
With PRP treatment, a typical client can expect results to last around 6 months, with visible signs in a matter of weeks. You can boost results with future sessions, and also, most clients need a course of treatments to start with to ensure maximum effects.
A guide to costs
PRP treatment at our Essex clinic can be carried out on various areas of the body, from the face to the neck, to the decolletage. It's extremely affordable – with the minimum cost for a full-face treatment starting at £375 (correct July 2021).
Choosing your skin clinic
Ensuring you book in with a professional clinic is key when choosing an aesthetic treatment.
